Terms of Service

Read Shoserp's Terms of Service to understand the rules, subscription terms, and policies that govern your use of our SERP tracking platform and Chrome Extension.

Updated 2026-03-10

1. Agreement to Terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("User," "you") and Shoserp ("we," "us," "our") governing your access to and use of the Shoserp website at shoserp.com and the Shoserp Chrome Extension (collectively, the "Service").

By creating an account, installing the Extension, or using any part of the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

⚠️ Please read these Terms carefully. They include limitations on liability, a disclaimer of warranties, and terms governing subscription payments and refunds.

2. Description of Service

Shoserp is a SaaS platform and Chrome Extension that enables users to:

  • Track Google search engine result page (SERP) positions for specified keywords
  • Analyze SERP results across different geographic locations
  • Save, manage, and export ranking data in reports
  • Monitor changes in keyword rankings over time

The Service is intended for SEO professionals, marketers, and website owners. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Google LLC.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years of age to use the Service. By using the Service, you represent and warrant that you meet this requirement and have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement.

If you are using the Service on behalf of a company or organization, you represent that you are authorized to bind that entity to these Terms.

4. Account Registration

To access the Service, you must create an account by providing a valid email address and password. You are responsible for:

  • Keeping your login credentials confidential
  • All activity that occurs under your account
  • Notifying us immediately at [email protected] if you suspect unauthorized access

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that are shared among multiple users, unless you are on a plan that explicitly permits team access.

5. Subscriptions & Payments

Paid Plans

Shoserp offers paid subscription tiers with varying feature limits (keywords tracked, project counts, geolocation options, shared reports, report exports, etc.). Current pricing is available on our pricing page.

Plan limits that are described in marketing or interface copy as high-volume or "unlimited" are still subject to operational caps, fair use, technical safeguards, and the specific numeric limits shown in the product or pricing page. These limits may include caps per account, per project, per keyword set, per report, or per other resource.

Billing

Payments made using credit cards or other supported payment methods are processed by Paddle.com Market Limited ("Paddle"), which acts as the Merchant of Record for these transactions.

Paddle is responsible for billing, payment processing, tax handling, and refunds in accordance with Paddle’s Consumer Terms.

By purchasing through Paddle, you agree to Paddle’s Consumer Terms.

Free Trial

If we offer a free trial, it will be described on the pricing page. At the end of the trial period, your account will automatically transition to the selected paid plan unless you cancel before the trial ends.

Cryptocurrency Payments

We may allow certain purchases to be made using cryptocurrency (e.g., supported cryptocurrencies or blockchain tokens).

Cryptocurrency payments are processed directly by us and are not handled by Paddle.

Due to the irreversible nature of blockchain transactions, cryptocurrency payments are generally non-refundable except in cases of technical error or duplicate payment at our discretion.

Users are responsible for ensuring that payments are sent to the correct address and network. Transactions sent to incorrect addresses or networks may be permanently lost.

Cryptocurrency payments may not provide the same consumer protections as traditional payment methods.

Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. You will retain access to paid features until that date.

Refunds (Card Payments)

Refunds for purchases processed by Paddle are handled in accordance with Paddle’s Consumer Terms and refund policy.

If you believe you are entitled to a refund, please contact Paddle directly or contact us at [email protected] and we will assist in submitting a request.

The Service integrates with third-party services (e.g., payment processors, analytics providers). Your use of such services is governed by their respective terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the practices of third-party services.

The Service retrieves publicly available data from Google search result pages. We are not affiliated with or endorsed by Google, and your use of the Service must comply with Google's Terms of Service.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that SERP data will be accurate or complete at all times. SERP tracking results depend on third-party platforms that may change without notice.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Shoserp and its officers, directors, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or business opportunities, arising from your use of or inability to use the Service.

Our total liability to you for any claim arising from these Terms or the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the 12 months preceding the event giving rise to the claim, or $100, whichever is greater.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Shoserp and its affiliates from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your infringement of any third-party rights.

13. Termination

You may terminate your account at any time by deleting your account in the settings or contacting us at [email protected].

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without notice, if we believe you have violated these Terms or applicable law. Upon termination:

  • Your license to use the Service immediately ends
  • We may delete your account data in accordance with our Privacy Policy
  • No refunds will be issued for unused subscription time unless required by applicable law or handled in accordance with Paddle’s Consumer Terms where Paddle is the Merchant of Record.

14. Governing Law & Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Estonia and, where applicable, the laws of the European Union, without regard to conflict of law provisions.

If you are located in the EEA, the mandatory consumer protection laws of your country of residence may also apply and take precedence where required by law.

Any dispute arising from these Terms shall first be attempted to be resolved informally by contacting us at [email protected]. If unresolved within 30 days, disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Tallinn, Estonia, unless applicable EU consumer law grants you the right to bring proceedings in your country of residence.

You may also use the EU Online Dispute Resolution platform: https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.

We may update these Terms at any time. For material changes, we will provide at least 14 days' notice via email or a prominent notice on the Service before the changes take effect. Continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
