Quick overview
ShoSerp helps you see Google search results the way your audience sees them. You can preview Google from another country, city, language, or device, then track how your website ranks in that same market over time.
The extension is built around two main tools:
- Geo SERP Preview for fast checks in Google
- Geo SERP Tracker for saved projects, ranking history, snapshots, analysis, and reports
Use Preview when you want a quick answer. Use Tracker when you want to keep records, compare dates, and explain what changed.
Geo SERP Preview
Geo SERP Preview lets you change the Google search context inside Chrome. Instead of relying on your current location, you choose the market you want to inspect.
You can use it to:
- check Google results by country
- switch the search language
- select a specific city or local area
- compare desktop and mobile results
- keep your preferred preview settings for later
This is useful when you need to confirm what Google shows in a target market before making SEO decisions.
Example
If your page targets customers in London, you can preview Google as if you were searching from London. If your team is also checking mobile rankings, you can switch the device view and compare how the results change.
Geo SERP Tracker
Geo SERP Tracker turns one-time checks into repeatable monitoring. You create a project, add your website domain, choose the search market, and enter the keywords you want to follow.
For each project, ShoSerp can help you:
- track where your website ranks for selected keywords
- save SERP snapshots for each check
- review ranking changes across dates
- see the best ranking URL for each keyword
- compare results by country, language, city, and device
- pause, resume, or restart tracking runs when needed
The result is more than a simple rank number. You get a record of what appeared on Google when the check was made.
SERP snapshots
Snapshots help you understand the search page behind each ranking result. When ShoSerp checks a keyword, it can save the surrounding SERP context so you can review it later.
A snapshot can show:
- your ranking URLs
- nearby organic results
- top competitors on the page
- ads that appeared in the results
- whether an AI answer was present
- sources cited by AI results when available
This makes it easier to explain why a keyword moved, why competitors gained visibility, or why a page needs improvement.
Keyword metrics
ShoSerp can add search demand context to tracked keywords. Instead of only seeing ranking positions, you can review useful keyword signals such as:
- average monthly searches
- monthly volume trends
- competition level
- top-of-page bid estimates
These metrics help you decide which keywords deserve attention first.
Keyword dynamics
Keyword dynamics shows how a SERP changes over time. It helps you spot whether a keyword is stable, volatile, gaining new competitors, or losing old ranking pages.
Use it to understand:
- which domains keep appearing for a keyword
- which URLs are new in the latest snapshot
- which URLs disappeared from the results
- whether rankings are moving often or staying steady
- how ads and competitors change across checks
This is useful when a ranking drop needs an explanation, not just a number.
AI keyword summaries
AI keyword summaries turn collected SERP data into plain-language SEO guidance. The summary can help explain the keyword intent, market context, your page position, competitor strengths, content gaps, and possible next steps.
Use AI summaries when you want a faster way to move from "what happened?" to "what should we improve?"
Competitor Analysis
Competitor Analysis helps you look at the pages that rank against you. ShoSerp can review competitor pages found in tracked SERPs and compare them with your own page.
It can help you answer questions like:
- Which competitor pages keep appearing?
- Is our page shorter or weaker than ranking pages?
- Are competitors using better headings, metadata, media, or internal links?
- Do we need to update an existing page or create a new one?
The analysis is organized around keywords, pages, and recommendations so you can move from SERP evidence to practical content decisions.
Reports and export
When you need to share progress with a client, manager, or team, ShoSerp can export project data into an Excel workbook.
Reports can include:
- project overview
- keyword rankings
- historical rank changes
- captured SERP results
- ads and result details from saved snapshots
This gives you a shareable record instead of screenshots scattered across different conversations.
Plans at a glance
ShoSerp has three public plans:
- Starter: preview country and language, track 1 project with up to 5 keywords, and save snapshots
- Premium: adds location and device controls, more projects and keywords, ranking history, keyword dynamics, and AI credits
- Professional: adds unlimited projects and keywords, report export, Competitor Analysis, and more AI credits
The extension may show upgrade prompts inside locked controls when a feature belongs to a higher plan.
