Welcome to Shoserp ("we," "our," or "us"). Shoserp operates the website shoserp.com and the Shoserp Chrome Extension (collectively, the "Service") - a SaaS platform for tracking Google SERP positions, analyzing search results across different geolocations, and generating reports.

This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding your personal data. By using the Service, you agree to the practices described here.

Account & Identity Data

Search & Usage Data

  • Keywords and search queries you enter into the Service for SERP tracking
  • Target geolocations you configure for tracking
  • SERP position history and snapshots associated with your account
  • Reports you generate, save, or export within the platform
  • Extension activity logs (e.g., tracked URLs, timestamps of checks)

Payment Data

  • Billing name and email address
  • Payment method details (credit/debit card numbers, billing address)

Payment transactions are processed by our third-party payment processor. We do not store full card numbers on our servers; we only retain a tokenized reference and billing history provided by the payment processor.

Technical & Analytics Data

  • IP address and approximate geolocation
  • Browser type and version, operating system
  • Pages visited, features used, session duration
  • Crash reports and error logs
  • Cookies and similar tracking technologies (see Section 7)

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the data we collect to:

We do not sell your personal data. We do not use your search queries for advertising profiling or share them with third-party advertisers.

We use cookies and similar technologies for the following purposes:

  • Analytics cookies - to understand how users interact with the Service (e.g., Google Analytics)

8. Chrome Extension & Permissions

The Shoserp Chrome Extension requires certain browser permissions to function. These are used solely to deliver SERP tracking features:

  • Access to Google search result pages to extract ranking data
  • Communication with Shoserp servers to sync tracking data and reports

The Extension does not read your browsing history on other websites, capture keystrokes, or access content unrelated to Google SERP pages during active tracking sessions.

The Extension complies with the Chrome Web Store Developer Program Policies.

9. Your Rights

Regardless of where you are located, you have the right to:

  • Access - request a copy of the personal data we hold about you
  • Correction - request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data
  • Deletion - request deletion of your personal data ("right to be forgotten")
  • Portability - receive your data in a structured, machine-readable format
  • Objection - object to processing based on legitimate interests
  • Opt-out - unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time via the link in any email
